SIPDiscount PAP2 Settings
Free VoIP to 39 Countries with VoIPStunt (more...)
From Finarea, (the folks that brought you VoipBuster and VoipCheap) comes yet another entrant into the realm of 'low-cost VoIP'. Offering 'free' calls to conventional telephones in specific countries, SIPDiscount has carved a niche for themselves in the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) SIP VoIP market.
Before I post the PAP2 settings that I use with SIPDiscount, I feel compelled to say a few things about my personal experiences with this company. Firstly, with SIPDiscount, you're really 'on your own'. There are very few instructions on their website regarding SIP configuration and emails to their customer support/feedback department are rarely (if ever) answered. Secondly, you'll need to download a small app from their website in order to register for an account and don't be surprised if it doesn't work right away. I kept getting a message that the program I downloaded from them seconds before was 'out of date' and it couldn't register an account for me. An attempt to 're-register' 4 days later (with the exact same program) solved that problem. Thirdly, once you do register and deposit money into your account, don't expect to be able to make calls right away. Even though my account showed the money had been accepted by SIPDiscount, it took a full two days beyond the deposit for my PAP2 to register with their SIP server. So on that note, my screenshot settings do work but you may have to wait a couple of days for your PAP2 to register - be patient!
Oh, one last thing..... Don't be surprised if the calling rates change. I signed up due to the fact that they were advertising free, unlimited calls to Australia (once an initial deposit of 5 Euro was made). As soon as my PAP2 registered and I started making calls, I discovered that they do in fact charge for calls to Australia. Shortly thereafter, their website was amended to show that calls to Australia are no longer free. You have been warned.....

Make sure that you have 'STUN' enabled on the SIP Page of your PAP2. Without STUN enabled, I was only getting 'one-way' audio (I could hear the people who I was calling yet they couldn't hear me). Enabling STUN on the SIP page fixed this problem.
